One page, every screen

Your pages will be seen on tiny phones and on huge monitors. Build them to fit both, and everything in between.

People open your page on a 360px phone, a tablet turned sideways and a 2560px monitor. Building a separate site for each is endless work, and new screen sizes appear every year.

Responsive design means one layout that adapts fluidly to any screen size. Ethan Marcotte coined the term in 2010. The goal: content reflows to fit the space, and nobody ever has to scroll sideways to read it.

  • Fluid layouts in relative units
  • Images that scale with their container
  • Media queries for the moments the layout needs to change
